see the world from a different angle.jpg

Dear visitor,

Hey! No matter where you're from or what your background is, welcome to Perspective Living. Here’s a bit more about who we are and what we’re all about.

What: Perspective Living Magazine is an online-only, English-language magazine for anyone around the world who's curious about fresh ideas and new ways of looking at life.

Mission: Our magazine is all about sharing different kinds of perspectives—stuff you might not have bumped into in your own world, or viewpoints from cultures, past times or ideologies you have yet to explore. By embracing 'perspective living' — living with clarity about our own and others' perspectives — we open our minds and hearts to new ideas and opportunitites that reach beyond conventional patterns of thought and living. This way, we enrich our own lives and contribute to a better world.

Content: We've got our global content sorted into these cool sections: LifeStyle Features, Slow News, Interviews, Personal Stories, Random Perspectives, and Video & Sound. We dive into all sorts of topics, like health, body and mind, lifestyle, work, and relationships.

Who's it For: Let's be clear—our magazine is for everyone, no matter your background, skills, or location. If you love checking out life from different viewpoints or are just curious about fresh ideas, this is your spot. Feel free to connect with us through our online contact forms or on social media.

Style: Our content style is calm, upbeat, and solution-oriented, guided by the principle that 'less is more.' Our content is also  'slow'—or timeless—offering a fresh perspective rather than focussing on current events. We do not provide how-to guidance or definitive answers; instead, we offer the bigger picture, and ideas intended to spark reflection or further exploration. Furthermore, we avoid making statements or drawing conclusions when something cannot be determined with absolute certainty. So, for instance, rather than stating, "air conditioning is bad for your health and the planet," we might phrase it as, "experts suggest that..."

Social Media: While we're present on social media, we're not all about gaining followers or stirring up 'like versus dislike' debates. We see these platforms as a way to connect, share content, and guide people to our website.

Future Goals: We will soon be introducing subscriptions and a newsletter. You will also start to see advertisements and promotional material. These will not be intrusive or buy-me-aggressive; rather, they will align with our content and may help you take the next step based on what you have just read or heard. And finally, our website, our contributors, and our content continue to evolve, so stay tuned for updates!

Warm regards,

Team Perspective Living and Femke, Chief Editor
